We are a small family farm located in north-central West Virginia with a passion for sustainable growing practices and animal husbandry. We are still growing and expanding into all the ventures we are interested in, but for now feel free to poke around our website and see what we’re about!

The Dogs

While we love all our animals here at Pine Spring Farm, we particularly take pride in raising well balanced Tornjaks to be working livestock guardians. Our biggest priority is ensuring the working capability of the breed, but we also work hard to promote the breed as a whole and ensure correct structure by attending conformation shows all around the east coast. We believe a Tornjak is a versatile enough breed to excel in both the field and the show ring. Our dogs also participate in other dog sports (weight pull, scent work, etc.) based on the particular strengths of each individual dog and their enjoyment of the sport. For the health of the breed, we keep DNA profiles of our dogs and test OFA hips, elbows, patellas, eyes, and heart.
